פרויקט שילוט תיירותי לגולן נעשה בהובלת אגף תיירות במועצה אזורית גולן. כיום אגף תיירות נמצא תחת החברה הכלכלית. בפרויקט לקחו חלק כשותפים מובילים משרד התיירות והחברה הממשלתית לתיירות והוא נעשה בשיתוף מלא של גופי הדרכה שונים כמו רשות הטבע והגנים, בית ספר שדה גולן ואחרים. הפרויקט הפרויקט נחנך ב- 2015 וכולל:
7 שלטי ענק המקבלים את פני המטיילים בשערי הגולן, הם הכבישים העולים לגולן.
37 שלטים בולטים ומסבירי פנים על הכבישים הראשיים בקרבת אתרי טבע, נוף ומורשת. בשלטים משולבות תמונות, המלצות לביקור ותוכן תיירותי. בחלק מן השלטים ישנם הסברים גם בשפה האנגלית.
וכן, שלטי הכוונה לאתרי תיירות מהכבישים הראשיים.
שפת העיצוב של השלטים כוללת שימוש באבן הבזלת המקומית ובגוון האפור המייצג אותה ובירוק המייצג את הטבע הגולני.
פרויקט שילוט הגולן נעשה כחלק מתהליך כולל של מיתוג הגולן כפארק תיירות ונופש מרכזי בישראל וכמנוע לצמיחה כלכלית של עסקי התיירות ותושבי הגולן.
